Job description

REMOTE Docebo LMS Administrator (Contract)
LMS configuration · Documentation · Troubleshooting

The future of learning deserves the right talent. CapeTalent connects AI-forward Learning & Development professionals with Fortune 100 companies driving innovation at scale.

Contract Details
  • Remote 11 month contract (strong likelihood of extension)
  • 1099/C2C Only | Candidates must be based in the United States
  • Start date: August 2026
  • 40 hours per week @ $45-$55/hour (C2C or 1099), based on experience, with flexibility.
  • Standard U.S. business hours
  • Heavy Slack collaboration + Laptop provided
  • Portfolio REQUIRED

The Opportunity

Our client is scaling its expert credentialing ecosystem across a large enterprise software platform, supporting 30K+ geographically dispersed users globally. We're seeking a senior, hands-on Docebo LMS Administrator to own their Docebo instance as the subject matter expert.

This is an operational, contract role. You won't design curriculum, own measurement strategy, or set assessment standards — you'll run the LMS with expert-level depth and be the go-to resource when things break, need to scale, or need to be configured correctly the first time.

What You'll Do

  • Platform Administration & GovernanceOwn day-to-day Docebo administration — configuration, user and access governance, course and catalog setup, data integrity, version control, and archiving inactive courses to keep the LMS environment clean.

  • Release & QA ManagementManage release processes for content and platform updates, including QA before go-live.

  • Troubleshooting & Escalation Troubleshoot platform issues and serve as the escalation point for LMS-related tickets.

  • Integrations & Data FlowPartner with platform and engineering teams on integrations, data flow, and technical issues.

  • Documentation & StandardsMaintain documentation for LMS configuration, processes, and standard operating procedures.

  • System Health & Risk MonitoringMonitor system health and surface risks — capacity, vendor issues, data problems — before they affect delivery.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years hands-on Docebo administration.
  • Deep fluency in LMS configuration: user roles and permissions, course catalogs, learning plans, reporting, and API/integration basics.
  • Experience in a credentialing, certification, or professional training environment.
  • Familiarity with xAPI/SCORM tracking issues and common causes of data gaps.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot platform issues independently, without vendor hand-holding.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with engineering and content teams.
  • Clear written documentation skills.
