Job description

Need Top-Notch REMOTE hands-on Java candidates with 15+ years of experience and very strong Kubernetes/Docker in-depth knowledge!

The client needs a Lead Java Developer who is HANDS ON and (s)he will be Leading Technology Change.

They are migrating now from Spring 2.2 to 3.2, and from Java 8 to Java 17.

Containerization with Kubernetes is a strategic intuitive for the Client, which will become predominant within two years.

REQIRED SKILLS:

  • 15+ years of hands-on Java Development experience in Lead Development roles (20+ years of exp are preferred!)
  • Developing Spring Boot Microservices in Kubernetes/Docker!!!

with Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat Architecture experience is a beneficial skills!

  • Microservices are very important!
  • Service Mesh
  • Service Discovery/Discovery Stack
  • CI/CD Tools (and GitOps for collaboration); they use Argo CD

Cloud experience is NOT important at all!

Databases: they work with Cassandra (specifically DataStax) and SQL Server.

If no Cassandra, then any NoSQL DBs will be fine.

Process:

  • Two rounds of interview on MS Teams
  • Includes difficult Java coding test!!!
