Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, identifying strengths and challenges.
  • Provide high-quality individual, family, and group therapy, drawing from a range of evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that establish clear goals, outline interventions, and monitor progress effectively.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, nurses, and mental health professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, including conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans for clients in acute distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, which includes individuals from varying backgrounds, ethnicities, and life experiences, each presenting unique mental health challenges. This role allows you to directly contribute to the empowerment and recovery of individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Demonstrable skills in assessment, intervention, and case management.
  • Proficient understanding of cultural competency to engage effectively with a range of clients.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Experience

Experience in community mental health settings or similar environments is preferred, as well as a demonstrated commitment to advocating for client needs and community resources.
