Job description

Symmetrio is recruiting a Territory Manager for our client, a large medical device manufacturer. This individual will be responsible for developing new accounts, growing existing customers, and driving adoption of advanced technologies.  Experience in interventional radiology, embolization, or ablative technologies is preferred.  Also having experience in both capital and consumable sales is a huge plus.  This territory will cover the Minnesota market.   The sales plan features an uncapped commission structure and excellent benefits, including a company car.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business with physicians, hospitals, and health systems throughout the territory.
  • Sell clinically sophisticated medical devices used in Interventional Oncology and image-guided procedures.
  • Manage a portfolio that may include capital equipment, procedural technologies, and disposable products.
  • Build relationships with Interventional Radiologists, Interventional Oncologists, and other procedural specialists.
  • Provide clinical and technical education to support product adoption and increased utilization.
  • Develop and execute territory plans to achieve sales objectives.
  • Support new product introductions and competitive conversions.
  • Partner with clinical, marketing, and commercial teams throughout the sales process.
  • Travel approximately 40–50% within the territory.

Requirements

  • Medical device or healthcare sales experience.
  • Experience within Interventional Radiology, Interventional Oncology, Vascular, Cardiology, Oncology, Surgery, or another procedural specialty preferred.
  • Experience selling capital equipment, disposable devices, or other clinically complex technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and grow existing business.
  • Comfortable selling to physicians and hospital stakeholders.
  • Strong territory management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
