The Brilliant Lotus Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a remote capacity. This full-time position is centered on providing comprehensive mental health services to adolescents, leveraging a multidisciplinary approach to promote effective and lasting changes in their lives. Work Environment

This position allows for a remote work setting, providing flexibility while engaging with colleagues and clients through digital platforms. We ensure flexibility in scheduling, including evening and weekend hours where necessary, to accommodate the unique needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct one-on-one therapeutic and psychosocial counseling sessions with adolescents, focusing on solution-oriented approaches to enhance mental health and well-being.
  • Assist clients in developing essential life skills to address current difficulties and equip them for future challenges.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and coordinate treatment plans, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive approach to each client's care.
  • Perform crisis intervention assessments and screenings to effectively shape treatment plans that align with recovery goals.
  • Deliver specialized therapy to adolescents who may be seriously mentally ill, cognitively impaired, or developmentally disabled, adapting techniques to meet their distinct needs.
  • Organize and facilitate group counseling sessions on various topics related to mental health, promoting peer support and shared learning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, including intake notes and treatment progress, to support continuity of care.
  • Provide training for probation and detention staff to foster effective engagement and skill development for adolescents in their supervision.
  • Coordinate discharge planning with community providers to maintain care continuity post-treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adolescents grappling with a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, and adjustment difficulties. By utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, you will ensure that each adolescent receives personalized care that addresses their unique circumstances and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work is required to ensure a strong foundation in clinical practice.
  • An active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory for this role.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also being an effective collaborator within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are crucial, as you will interact with a diverse population of patients.
Preferred Experience
  • Comfortable in delivering evidence-based therapies and adapting modalities to suit the needs of adolescents with varying mental health concerns.
