• Conduct initial assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for each client, taking into account their unique circumstances and needs.
• Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients manage and mitigate symptoms, particularly those resulting from mild traumatic brain injuries.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes and address any emerging challenges.
• Provide comprehensive mental health screenings and assessments to accurately identify treatment needs and goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of health professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
• Engagement in continuing education and training opportunities to stay current on best practices in mental health treatment.
• Fulfill any additional duties related to team objectives, client growth, and organizational initiatives.

In this role, you will primarily serve clients facing challenges associated with mild traumatic brain injuries, as well as other mental health issues. Your work will be pivotal in helping individuals navigate their recovery journey, providing therapeutic support to enhance their daily functioning and overall quality of life. The remote setting allows you to connect with a diverse client base, fostering meaningful relationships from the comfort of your office.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required, alongside an active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy practices, particularly in settings that address the needs of clients with traumatic brain injuries.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure well-rounded and effective client care.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly and empathetically.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of mental health counseling.

• Experience in telehealth environments, demonstrating comfort with remote communication tools and techniques.
• Additional certifications or training related to brain injury rehabilitation or trauma-informed care.
• Experience with diverse populations and the ability to address cultural sensitivities in treatment.
