  • Managing supplier relationships and coordinating sourcing activities across multiple electrical component categories
  • Analyzing market conditions, material pricing trends, and supplier performance metrics
  • Negotiating pricing, contracts, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers
  • Coordinating with engineering and operations teams on product specifications and supply requirements
  • Supporting risk mitigation planning and supply continuity strategies
  • Tracking cost savings, supplier KPIs, and sourcing performance against business objectives
Requirements:

  • 5–10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or commodity management
  • Experience sourcing electrical components, industrial equipment, or critical infrastructure products
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills
  • Experience developing sourcing strategies and managing supplier performance initiatives
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Preferred

  • Experience supporting data center, utility, or mission-critical infrastructure industries
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and components including transformers, metering systems, wiring assemblies, and power distribution infrastructure
  • Familiarity with global OEMs, contract manufacturers, and international supply chains
  • MBA or advanced technical degree

Work Environment & Travel

  • Onsite in Richmond, VA preferred; hybrid or remote options may be considered based on experience and business needs
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams
