To thrive as a Remote Building Code Inspector, you need in-depth knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and inspection procedures, typically backed by relevant certifications such as ICC or state licensure. Familiarity with virtual inspection technology, digital reporting tools, and project management software is crucial for remote work.
