Job description

Carisk Partners is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible PM&R physician for a remote position focused on the development, review, and oversight of evidence-based care coordination plans for injured workers who have sustained catastrophic work-related injuries.
The Physician works collaboratively with care coordinators, clinical staff, treating providers, and clients to support care planning and recovery across a range of complex injury types and levels of acuity.


Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and oversee implementation of evidence-based care coordination plans for injured worker patients
  • Present care plans to clients and clinical staff
  • Communicate with treating providers regarding injured worker patients, including peer-to-peer discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings, as needed
  • Participate in active case discussions with the Carisk Clinical Team, as needed
  • Collaborate closely with a dedicated care coordinator who supports care planning and coordination

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree

  • Board certification in Brain Injury Medicine (BIM) or Spinal Cord Injury Medicine (SCIM)
  • Experience in pain management and musculoskeletal medicine
  • Interest/experience in artificial intelligence
