About InOutsource
InOutsource is a recognized industry leader in information governance and new business intake consulting for large law firms. We partner with clients to deliver technical implementation services, modernize business processes, and support the successful adoption of key technologies across the legal sector. Our team members are innovative, passionate, and collaborative, and we are growing!
About the Role
InOutsource is seeking a Systems Integration Specialist with deep expertise in Intapp Walls to join our growing technical implementation practice. As the industry leader in information governance and risk consulting for professional services organizations, we are expanding our Intapp service capabilities to include ethical walls and information barrier solutions. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical resource on Intapp Walls implementation engagements, guiding clients through configuration, data integration, testing, and go-live. You will work in close collaboration with our solution engineers and project managers to achieve exceptional impact with our customers. InOutsource is a Power Partner to Intapp and has the largest team of certified Risk/Compliance implementation experts. The ideal candidate combines strong technical integration skills (SQL, REST APIs, Dell Boomi, and Intapp Integration Builder) with a working knowledge of law firm systems such as iManage, NetDocuments, Aderant, and Elite 3E, and is comfortable interfacing directly with client stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Duties and Responsibilities
Intapp Walls Implementation
  • Lead end-to-end technical implementation of Intapp Walls for law firm and other professional services customers, from design through deployment and post-go-live support
  • Analyze client ethical wall policies, access control requirements, and confidentiality frameworks to translate business rules into Intapp Walls configuration
  • Configure the Intapp Walls policy engine to enforce information barriers across client systems including iManage, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Aderant/Elite 3E
  • Implement and test automated access management workflows, including matter team membership synchronization and real-time permission enforcement
  • Utilize and extend the Intapp Walls to integrate screen enforcement logic with other firm systems
  • Manage migration for on-prem Walls customers moving to Intapp Walls Cloud
  • Set up monitoring, alerting, and audit reporting capabilities within and outside of Intapp Walls to support compliance needs
Data Integration & Technical Engineering
  • Execute data investigation to understand clients' existing systems, data structures, and integration architecture
  • Develop and test ETL processes for bulk data loads and ongoing data synchronization between Intapp Walls and adjacent firm systems
  • Build and maintain integrations using Dell Boomi and/or Intapp Integration Builder (Integrate) connecting Intapp Walls to practice management, DMS, and time/billing systems
  • Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to support data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows for a variety of software solutions, as needed
  • Navigate and construct XML, JSON, and RESTful API integrations as needed across the implementation stack
  • Review and advise on client on-premises and cloud infrastructure configurations to support Intapp Walls deployments/migrations
Project & Customer Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary technical point of contact during Intapp Walls engagements, attending client project meetings and communicating technical status clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions and contribute to solution design documentation
  • Collaborate with InOutsource project managers, business consultants, and other team members to ensure coordinated, on-time delivery
  • Coordinate with Intapp directly on product-specific issues, certifications, and professional development activities
  • Contribute to development and maintenance of InOutsource's repeatable implementation methodologies, templates, and internal tooling for Walls engagements
  • Support business development activities by providing technical input during pre-sales discussions and scoping exercises
  • Produce clear technical documentation, including configuration guides, integration specifications, and runbooks

Qualifications
Required
  • 3+ years of experience in technical implementation or systems integration roles, preferably within legal technology or professional services
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Intapp Walls (Wall Builder) configuration and administration, including policy engine setup, matter team management, and access control enforcement
  • Proficiency in SQL — including query writing, stored procedures, and relational database design principles
  • Experience with RESTful and/or SOAP API integrations
  • Familiarity with Dell Boomi and at least one other major integration platforms: Intapp Integration Builder (Integrate), MuleSoft, or equivalent
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications in a law firm or professional services environment (e.g., iManage, Aderant, Elite 3E, NetDocuments, Microsoft 365)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements concurrently and prioritize under tight deadlines
  • Solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and a high standard for quality
Preferred
  • Intapp product certification(s), particularly in Walls, Integration Builder, or the broader Intapp Compliance/Risk suite
  • Experience with additional Intapp modules: Open (Intake/Conflicts), Terms, Time, or Workspaces
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration, including SharePoint permissions, Teams provisioning, Purview, and Microsoft Graph API
  • Experience with ethical walls/information barrier concepts, compliance frameworks (e.g., ABA Model Rules, outside counsel guidelines), or legal risk management contexts
  • PowerBI and/or SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) report development experience
  • Dell Boomi Associate or Professional Developer certification
  • Basic knowledge of computer networking, server infrastructure, and cloud deployment (Azure preferred)
  • Experience in a consulting or professional services delivery environment
