The Role

You'll play a key role by offering excellent customer service to wholesalers, contractors, and other clients. This position requires superior technical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and educate customers on all products that we represent. These products include Lochinvar boilers and water heaters, Taco pumps and controls, tekmar controls, REHAU radiant heating systems, and many others. You'll also assist customers with general inquiries, such as finding part numbers, sizing equipment, providing price and availability, and quoting small projects.

Responsibilities
  • Learn and maintain superior technical knowledge for each manufacturer we represent
  • Field customer inquiries for technical support on our products
  • Provide customers with pricing, availability, and other general product information
  • Generate quotations for small projects
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with patience and precision
  • Communicate effectively with manufacturers to resolve customer concerns
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical hydronic heating, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing-related products
  • Basic understanding of hydronic and snowmelt systems and controls, including boilers and all related components
  • Understanding of troubleshooting sequences, processes, and basic electric circuitry
  • Strong customer service orientation with patience and diplomacy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail, responsiveness, and professional presentation
  • Perseverance and follow-through when working with manufacturers and customers
Compensation and Benefits
  • Full-time hourly position
  • Base pay: $70,000-$85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications*
