• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients’ mental health needs, history, and treatment goals to devise effective care strategies.
• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and systems theory approaches.
• Collaborate with clients to construct and continuously adapt personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique objectives and circumstances.
• Engage with various school staff, teachers, and families to support the overall mental health framework, creating awareness and promoting resources available to students.
• Maintain strict confidentiality throughout all client interactions, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, or additional training to stay updated on best practices in social work.
• Develop strong therapeutic alliances with clients, fostering an atmosphere of trust and collaboration that encourages client engagement and growth.
• Provide practical strategies and emotional support to help clients effectively navigate life challenges and mental health issues.

Your role will primarily focus on a diverse group of clients, including students from various backgrounds within the Long Beach school district. You will address a wide array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and familial conflicts, working to enhance emotional resilience and support academic achievements.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess an active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical or private practice setting is necessary, enabling you to bring valuable expertise to our team.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based intervention implementation are essential.

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus attractive performance-based incentives.
