We're seeking a Lead Frontend Engineer to join our client's team in a remote position. This position offers a unique opportunity to architect and build cutting-edge fintech applications using modern technologies like SvelteKit and Svelte 5. As part of a high-performing engineering team, you'll shape the future of securities trading platforms through innovative frontend solutions, while working on complex distributed systems that demand technical excellence. This role combines creative frontend development with the challenge of building real-time, high-stakes financial applications - perfect for a senior developer ready to make a significant impact in the fintech space.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and evolve modern frontend architecture using SvelteKit and Svelte 5, ensuring scalable and maintainable code bases
  • Design and implement high-performance real-time interfaces, including dynamic charts, data tables, and live metrics dashboards
  • Develop and maintain a robust design system leveraging Tailwind, ShadCN, and Bits-ui to ensure consistent, accessible user experiences
  • Create secure and intuitive user flows, including authentication, dashboard interfaces, and complex form systems
  • Engineer efficient data visualization solutions that transform complex blockchain and backend data into user-friendly interfaces
  • Drive technical excellence through collaboration with cross-functional teams, particularly backend and blockchain developers
  • Shape architectural decisions focusing on performance optimization, scalability, and future-proof solutions

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in finance, trading, or security-sensitive apps
  • Experience with crypto wallets, Web3 integrations, or DeFi platforms
  • Worked on community-focused platforms (user profiles, social features, dashboards)
  • Familiar with PostgreSQL, or real-time data pipelines (e.g., Kafka, Redis...)
  • Built JavaScript libraries or contributed significantly to open source projects
  • Extensive experience with modern frontend frameworks, particularly SvelteKit and Svelte 5
  • Proficiency in building real-time data visualization interfaces and dynamic dashboards
  • Strong background with Tailwind CSS, ShadCN, and Bits-ui component libraries
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and real-time data pipelines (Kafka, Redis)
  • Proven track record in open-source contributions or JavaScript library development

Domain Experience:

  • Background in community-focused platforms, including user profiles and social features
  • Web3 ecosystem experience, including crypto wallet integrations and DeFi platforms
  • Track record in developing security-sensitive applications or financial platforms

Additional Technical Skills (Recommended):

  • Experience with WebSocket protocols for real-time data streaming
  • Knowledge of frontend performance optimization and bundle size management
  • Familiarity with TypeScript and modern build tools
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices

Our client's team maintains a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role goes beyond typical 9-5 expectations-we're looking for an exceptional frontend engineer who will build, own, and deliver world-class products while collaborating with our talented, close-knit team.

To apply, please share your portfolio, GitHub profile, or examples of past work - particularly real-time applications, dashboards, or security/finance-related projects.
