JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Harrisburg's School of Science, Engineering, and Technology invites applications for part-time faculty openings in the Department of Biological Sciences.

Job Duties
  • The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses in Biology, Microbiology, Nutrition and upper level electives in Biology.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Candidates must have a PhD in Biology or a related field and a strong background in teaching experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Applicants will be reviewed based on their background, experience and educational credentials. Review of applications will begin immediately, and vacancies will be filled as needed. Applicants should submit a web application, cover letter, and curriculum vitae. In addition, candidates should be prepared to provide the names, titles, and contact information (telephone, email, and mailing address) of three (3) professional references, if requested.
