Job Summary:
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
  • Works closely with team members to understand project requirements and translate them into software solutions.
  • Adheres to Agile methodologies and principles for software development.
  • Reviews design, code, and test of software to ensure quality and functionality of applications.
  • Ensures software meets all requirements of quality, security, extensibility, etc.
  • Resolves technical issues and defects promptly and efficiently.
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation that accurately represents software design and code.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in software development.
  • Demonstrated experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and principles.
  • Ability to operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues and defects efficiently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance/suitability determination, as required by the contract.

Preferred Qualifications
    • Relevant industry certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), CompTIA Security+).
    • Experience developing within cloud environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).
    • Familiarity with DevSecOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
