The Twin Cities Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote telehealth team. • Conduct thorough assessments: Meet virtually with clients to evaluate their mental health status, gathering details about their history, symptoms, and needs.
• Develop tailored treatment plans: Create individualized therapy regimens based on clients’ unique situations, goals, and preferences.
• Provide ongoing support: Schedule regular sessions with clients to monitor their progress, refine treatment strategies, and empower them with coping mechanisms necessary for their recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: Work closely with other healthcare providers, such as physicians and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive care for your clients.
• Utilize evidence-based practices: Implement scientifically validated therapeutic methods to effectively address a range of mental health conditions.
• Document and manage care: Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and treatment progress in our EHR systems.

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals encountering various mental health issues. Given the nature of telehealth, you will engage with a spectrum of patients from different backgrounds, contributing to your expertise in cultural competence. Your ability to approach therapy with sensitivity to the individual’s cultural context and personal experiences will be crucial in fostering effective client relationships and promoting positive outcomes.

• Education: A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).
• Experience: A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities, along with proficiency in evidence-based therapy techniques.
• Skills: Strong crisis intervention ability and excellent interpersonal skills for engaging a wide range of clients.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with electronic health record systems and remote consultation tools.

• Experience delivering culturally responsive therapy in both individual and group settings.
• A demonstrated ability to develop strategies for clients with co-occurring disorders.
• Utilization of innovative approaches and interventions that cater to varying patient needs.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
