The Opportunity

In this role, you'll mentor a talented group of Systems Engineers specializing in infrastructure platforms, virtualization. and cloud-native technologies. You'll work cross-functionally to align technology strategies with customer needs, driving our go-to-market vision in a cloud-centric world.

About the Team

Our Systems Engineering team in the Philadelphia metropolitan area is dedicated to delivering innovative cloud solutions and top-tier customer experiences. We emphasize open communication and mutual support, ensuring every team member has the resources and guidance to succeed. You’ll report to the Sr. Director, Systems Engineering, who values transparent leadership. While the role is primarily remote, you’ll travel for key customer and team events (including visits to Nutanix HQ in San Jose, EBCs, and conferences in NYC and Durham).

Your Role

  • Lead & Mentor: Recruit, onboard, and train team members, championing their professional growth.
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate directly with customers to understand market dynamics and drive tailored solutions.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with product management, engineering, and customer support to align strategies and shape product direction.
  • Culture Building: Inspire a collaborative, supportive environment rooted in continuous learning and innovation.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assess team performance, identify improvements, and guide innovation.
  • Sales Partnership: Collaborate closely with sales to ensure regional success and drive business outcomes.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $219,120 and USD $328,680 per year.However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
