About Unblu

Unblu helps the world's leading banks and insurance companies deliver conversational finance solutions. We provide highly secure engagement and collaboration software, enabling financial institutions to enrich the digital experience of their clients.

By choosing a career with Unblu, you choose to join an international and innovation-savvy company. With our head office situated in Basel, Switzerland, and additional offices in Bulgaria, Germany, the UK, Canada, and the USA, you'll be joining an international team dedicated to shaping the future of digital engagement. While Unblu is run as an independent company with global scope, we are fortunate to have Swiss Post as our anchor shareholder, providing long-term support and vision to the company.

The Sales Executive drives new business and expansion revenue for Unblu within the financial services sector, selling both directly to institutions and through our partner network. The role owns the full sales cycle from prospecting to close and is central to building a scalable, sustainable growth engine for Unblu's customer base.

Requirements

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities sufficient to meet or exceed quota.
  • Run the full sales cycle - prospecting, qualification, demoing, negotiation, and close - for both new and existing customers.
  • Identify and evaluate potential new partners, and support their onboarding.
  • Own escalated customer requests and issues through to resolution, acting as the customer's advocate within Unblu.
  • Represent Unblu at industry events, conferences, and webinars.

    Skills and competencies:
  • Deep understanding of the retail banking market in Canada and the United States, from community and regional banks to large multinational institutions.
  • Deep understanding of the wealth management market, spanning small and mid-sized RIAs and independent advisors up to large-scale asset managers and institutional servicing firms.
  • Working knowledge of web technologies and how digital customer engagement channels are implemented.
  • Proven ability to demo complex software applications to technical and non-technical audiences and an ability to be self-sufficient throughout the sales cycle.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial judgment.
  • Skilled in prospecting, client consultation, problem-solving, closing, and managing multiple accounts concurrently.
  • Self-motivated and effective working independently.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of proven success selling client-facing software solutions.
  • 2+ years of proven success selling into the financial services industry.
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota.

Additional Requirements:

  • Fluent in English; French is a strong asset.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the United States and occasionally to Europe.

Benefits

  • Work alongside talented colleagues from over 30 nationalities across 8 dynamic locations.
  • Enjoy a competitive salary, 5 week holiday and great referral bonuses.
  • Extended health and dental benefits that kick in on day 1.
  • Benefit from flexible working hours and a fully remote working environment that fits your lifestyle.
  • Take advantage of our commitment to professional growth with access to the latest tools and technologies.
  • Choose the hardware and OS that suits you best - Linux, Windows or MacOS.
