YouthWorks is a ministry of Real Resources, a nonprofit Christian faith-based organization whose core purpose is to serve churches by providing Christ-centered resources and experiences for ministry. THE MOBILIZATION TEAMโ€™S FOCUS:

The Mobilization Team is focused on a holistic sales and customer service approach. YouthWorks values long-term relationships with our customers and provides one-on-one support when necessary. This team allows us to embody this value in our current structure.
THE POSITION:

The YouthWorks Registration Coordinator provides administrative support and communication to Trip Leaders throughout their customer journey.

This includes cold calling & emailing to qualify leads, representing YouthWorks at events, and taking registrations for trips. Post registration, the Registration Coordinator serves Trip Leaders through trip planning calls, assists with customer support related to registration, payments, and paperwork, and answers questions regarding all registration (pre-packaged, custom, service learning, and any additional offerings).

REPORTING:ย 

The YouthWorks Registration Coordinator reports directly to the Senior Director of Mobilization.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The YouthWorks Registration Coordinator is individually responsible for and accountable for responding to customers within a set timeframe and completing a number of trip planning calls. As a member of the Mobilization Team, the Registration Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining overall registrations. The person filling this role must be gifted with the skillset and character that are in line with the following responsibilities of this team:

Respond to Inbound Communication

  • Answering phone calls from the main YouthWorks and Service Center phone lines.
  • Managing, responding to, and distributing Service Center emails.
  • Connect with prospects and customers via Live Chat to answer questions and direct them to the proper resources.ย 

Implement the Post-Registration Process

  • Edit and send mission contracts to each registered organization
  • Schedule and complete Trip Planning Calls
  • Connect trip leaders with tools, resources, or other team members to help them plan their trip.

Collect Paperwork & Payment

  • Assist customers in their use of the online paperwork portal (Go).
  • Enter and adjust payments in the CRM, including physical checks, credits, and registration fees.
  • Document, forward, and respond to scholarship and special financial requests.
  • Call and email customers to collect missing paperwork or payments.

Maintain Accurate Information and Communication Records

  • Organize and record all correspondence with churches in Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Support in building, testing, and sending emails through Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Update missing or inaccurate customer contact information

Assist in Lead Generation and Qualification

  • Qualify leads via outbound call and email campaigns
  • Assist in scheduling Discovery Calls for the Sales Director
  • Represent YouthWorks at occasional conferences and events

Additional Tasks

  • Assist the Director of Communications with registration, physical and digital assets for conferences/sponsorships.
  • From time to time, the YouthWorks Registration Coordinator may be asked to take on additional tasksโ€”whether in their department or inter-departmentallyโ€”which support the overall ministry of YouthWorks.

HOURS:ย 

This position is full-time, exempt, and year-round. It occasionally requires evening and weekend hours if traveling. The supervisor grants approval for such instancesย on an as-needed basis. Core hours generally fall within daytime hours, though occasional evening/weekend hours may be requested.
REMOTE WORK:

Real Resources (YouthWorks) is based in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. The position is remote, work-from-home, and requires occasional travel. Staff can work in any location with prior approval and does not need to be based in Minnesota.
TRAVEL:ย ย 

If based near Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN: up to 1-2 trips per year for exhibiting at Christian conferences & events to connect with potential customers.ย If not MN-based: up to 4 trips per year for all staff gatherings (dates determined annually) plus up to 1-2 trips annually to exhibit at Christian conferences & events.

COMPENSATION: $40,000 - $50,000 annual salary commensurate with qualifications.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active and growing Christian faith and comfortable sharing their faith story and expression of faith as part of regular job duties and responsibilities

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 and SharePoint
  • College degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with churches/pastors
  • YouthWorks experience

Physical Requirements

  • Capable of completing tasks involving repetitive motion and lifting heavy objects (including items 25 pounds and greater)
  • Ability to sit, walk, and/or stand for extended times
  • Ability to travel for events
