Newly Created Role with a Busy Proven (thousands of clients) Niche Health Insurance Software Firm, New and Interesting Coding Projects, Bright and Collaborative Team.

We are seeking an experienced Modern-Stack Web Developer (node, react, typescript, Claude Code user) to own end-to-end web app development for our fast-moving platform. In this high-autonomy role, you will work side-by-side with different teams and stakeholders to convert loosely defined problems into high-impact, production-ready software. We are an AI-first engineering culture: you will leverage tools like Claude and Claude Code as core daily drivers to accelerate delivery while keeping quality high.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Full-Stack Engineering: Build and maintain scalable applications across the frontend and backend using TypeScript and Node.js.
  • AI-First Workflow: Utilize Claude / Claude Code as an essential part of your daily toolkit to ship high-quality features rapidly.
  • Code Quality & Observability: Write clean, testable, and observable code while making autonomous engineering decisions.
  • Proven experience as a Full-Stack Engineer with deep expertise in TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, React and the use of Claude AI for code delivery-development-refinement.
  • AI-Native Mindset: heavy hands-on experience using Claude / Claude Code with strong technical judgment on where LLMs and agents add real value; solid LangGraph/LangSmith experience is preferred
  • Product & Communication Skills: Strong business sense with the ability to discuss tradeoffs, scope, and solutions directly with non-technical stakeholders.
  • High Velocity & Autonomy: Thrives in a busy-small-team environment, accustomed to fast code production cycles with minimal guidance and the posibility of extra iterations
  • API Architecture: Experience building or working with GraphQL (e.g., Apollo).
  • Domain Experience: Background in health insurance, employee benefits, health insurance claims, or regulated health/health-insurance data environments (HIPAA/PHI compliance).
  • AI Tooling & Integrations: Familiarity with LangGraph, LangSmith, AI agents, or building complex data-migration and eligibility-system integrations.

Pluses:

  • Hands-on experience with the GCP Platform and its tooling ecosystem (e.g., BigQuery, Firebase/Firestore), Basic GCP Based DevOps skills is a big plus
  • Experience with any of the following: MaterialUI, Firestore, pub/sub, Git, Cypress or Jest for testing
  • Advanced Claude Usage sills
  • College Degree in Computer Science or a related field
