Location: Remote (U.S. Citizen Required)
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to help build and enhance the ConX (Constituent Experience) platform. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys creating fast, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces using modern JavaScript while collaborating closely with backend engineers working in Ruby.
You'll be responsible for developing high-quality frontend applications and reusable web components that deliver exceptional user experiences. If you're passionate about modern frontend architecture, accessibility, and clean, scalable code, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications.
  • Build reusable, standards-based web components using modern JavaScript.
  • Develop frontend applications using Vite as the primary build tool.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate Ruby-based services and APIs.
  • Ensure applications meet accessibility (WCAG) standards and follow best practices.
  • Optimize application performance, maintainability, and browser compatibility.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture and engineering best practices.
  • Work closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues across multiple browsers and devices.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.

  • Experience using Git in a collaborative development environment.
