Project Summary The Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Sr is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions within the Microsoft Azure platform. This role serves as a technical leader supporting cloud adoption, modernization, and operational excellence across enterprise environments. The engineer will partner with development, security, and IT operations teams to deliver highly available and compliant cloud solutions that align with mission and business objectives. This role requires deep expertise in Azure architecture, networking, automation, and security, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges in a Top Secret environment. Key Responsibilities * Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure.
* Provision and configure Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and associated services.
* Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines and workflows using Azure DevOps, ARM templates/Bicep, PowerShell, or similar tools.
* Monitor cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.
* Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including identity management, network security, and compliance controls.
* Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployment, integration, and lifecycle management.
* Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, networking, and performance issues within Azure environments.
* Support hybrid cloud integrations and connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.

* Strong knowledge of Azure networking concepts, including VNets, NSGs, firewalls, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
* Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, or similar tools.
* Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
* Experience implementing cloud security best practices and maintaining compliant environments.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

The targeted base salary range for this role is $121,000-$182,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
