Job description

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented EDI and iPaaS Developer with hands-on experience on the Boomi platform. This is a mid to senior level role and will be responsible for supporting day-to-day EDI operations, troubleshooting issues, and assisting in the migration of existing EDI integrations from a managed services provider to the Boomi platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical integration skills, an understanding of supply chain and order management data flows, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure smooth business transactions.
Key Responsibilities
• Support daily EDI operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving integration issues.
• Assist in the migration of existing EDI integrations from managed services providers to the Boomi platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain new EDI integrations between internal systems, partners, and trading platforms.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to analyze requirements and build efficient data exchange solutions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and integration maps for all EDI transactions.
• Work with trading partners to onboard, test, and validate EDI transactions (such as 850, 855, 856, 810, etc.).
• Development Application to Application integrations using Boomi with pre-built or custom connectors.
• Ensure adherence to data security, compliance, and integration best practices.
• Monitor system performance, perform root cause analysis, and propose improvement opportunities.
• Participate in code reviews, quality checks, and deployment activities.
Required Skills and Experience
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with EDI development, integration, and support.
• 5+ years of experience working on Boomi platform (Integration, API Management, or EDI AtomSphere).
• Strong understanding of EDI standards and transaction sets (X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON).
• Experience building and supporting integrations involving ERP systems (D365 is a plus.).
• Ability to analyze, map, and transform EDI data between trading partners and internal applications.
• Experience with integration monitoring, logging, and error-handling frameworks within Boomi.
• Good understanding of supply chain processes such as Order Management, Fulfillment, and Invoicing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
