Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Platform Architect (16+ years) to serve as a strategic bridge between business and technology. This individual will drive the vision, roadmap, and evolution of the enterprise data platform, ensuring business objectives are translated into scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions leveraging Azure and Databricks.

Required Skills & Experience
Atleast 15+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Enterprise Platform Architecture.
Demonstrated success engaging with senior business stakeholders and executive leadership to influence strategic decisions.
Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure data services, including Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and related cloud-native services.
Strong hands-on and architectural knowledge of Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, data pipelines, and modern Lakehouse architectures.
Proven ability to assess existing architectures and develop pragmatic transformation roadmaps that balance business priorities, cost, risk, and scalability.
Strong understanding of enterprise data governance, security, data quality, and platform operating models.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead whiteboard sessions and strategic discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
