Azure Cloud & Operations Engineer (Must be US Citizen or Green Card)
Join a team building and supporting secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud engineering that power critical business applications and data solutions. As an Azure Cloud / Operations Engineer, you will help design, deploy, automate, monitor, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure while driving operational excellence across cloud, database, security, and DevOps environments.
What You'll Do
  • Manage and support Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and platform services.
  • Administer and optimize Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, and Snowflake environments.
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Implement and enforce infrastructure and data security controls, access management, and governance standards.
  • Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and security using cloud monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, patching, upgrades, and scaling activities.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, database, deployment, access, and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with application, data, security, and business teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.
Minimum Qualifications (Requirements)
  • Experience managing Azure Commercial Cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Machines, including deployment, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience creating, configuring, monitoring, and supporting Azure SQL Database environments.
  • SQL Server administration and database support experience.
  • Experience supporting Snowflake, including schemas, roles, warehouses, and access management.
  • Knowledge of Azure Linked Services configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with infrastructure security, including networking, firewall rules, private endpoints, service principals, managed identities, and Key Vault.
  • Experience implementing role-based access controls and user access management.
  • Knowledge of database backup, recovery, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Experience monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure and database performance.
  • Hands-on DevOps experience supporting software deployments and release processes.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across cloud, database, security, and deployment environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure AI Foundry and Azure Machine Learning.
  • Knowledge of Azure data governance, cataloging, and data lineage solutions.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or ETL platforms.
