Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Onshore Technical Lead with strong expertise in React-based front-end development, UX design leadership, and database schema & data modeling. This role will act as the technical anchor and design authority, working closely with product owners, UX designers, architects, and offshore delivery teams to deliver scalable, user-centric, and data-driven applications.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, design-oriented, and comfortable translating business requirements into intuitive user experiences and well-structured data models.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend & UX Leadership
  • Lead the design and development of React-based web applications with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and performance
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive UX flows and UI components
  • Review and guide UX wireframes, prototypes, and design systems to ensure consistency and scalability
  • Establish frontend best practices, coding standards, and reusable component libraries
Data Modeling & Backend Design
  • Design and review database schemas and logical/physical data models to support application and analytics needs
  • Ensure data models align with business entities, reporting requirements, and performance considerations
  • Partner with backend engineers and data teams to ensure seamless integration between UI, APIs, and data layers
  • Address data quality, normalization, and scalability considerations early in the design process
Technical Leadership & Delivery
  • Serve as the onshore technical lead coordinating with offshore development teams
  • Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and architecture walkthroughs
  • Resolve complex technical challenges across frontend, UX, and data layers
  • Communicate technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholder
Collaboration & Governance
  • Work closely with Architecture, Security, Compliance, and Platform teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards
  • Contribute to roadmap planning, estimation, and delivery milestones
  • Mentor junior engineers and designers, fostering strong engineering and UX practices

Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of overall software engineering experience, with significant hands-on React experience
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and modern UI patterns
  • Proven experience in database schema design and data modeling (relational and/or NoSQL)
  • Experience translating business requirements into end-to-end application and data designs
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead discussions with business and technical stakeholders
