Job description

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer- Front End Focused (Hybrid Onsite) for a full time and direct hire role for one of our amazing healthcare software partners in South Florida. This role does NOT offer sponsorship, it's NOT a consulting role, it's NOT fully remote, and we do NOT work with 3rd parties.

This healthcare technology company is dedicated to improving care through innovative software solutions. Their AI-powered platform helps clinicians document faster, improve measurement accuracy, streamline workflows, and gain actionable insights that enhance patient outcomes. They need an experienced developer who has grown beyond junior work and is ready to take ownership of meaningful features. While the position is full stack, their back-end team is well established, so the ideal candidate is a full stack engineer whose strongest skills are on the front-end. You should be passionate about building modern SaaS applications and enjoy solving complex technical challenges in healthcare. Above all, they are looking for someone with the right attitude. That includes enthusiasm, curiosity, and the drive to pick up a project and run with it. They value developers who are eager to learn, take initiative, and see problems through.

You will work across their web and mobile products and their healthcare integrations:

  • Web: dashboard and reporting app, which we are migrating from AngularJS to the latest version of Angular this year.
  • Mobile: .NET MAUI app, built with an outside contractor you will collaborate with closely.
  • EHR integrations with third-party systems via HL7 and FHIR.

Responsibilities:

Front-End Development

  • Contribute to the migration of the Connect web application from AngularJS to the latest version of Angular
  • Build intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for clinical workflows
  • Develop reusable components and maintainable front-end architecture using Angular and TypeScript
  • Partner with product and design to translate requirements into polished user experiences
  • Optimize front-end performance, reliability, and usability

Mobile Application Collaboration

  • Act as an internal point of contact for the company's mobile (.NET MAUI), and work closely with their external mobile contractor
  • Understand the complexities of mobile development and help guide technical decisions
  • Ensure reliable, flawless data synchronization between the mobile app, back-end systems, and web application

Full Stack & Back-End Support

  • Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs in C# / .NET with Entity Framework and SQL Server
  • Support cloud-native applications and APIs hosted in Microsoft Azure
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and well-tested code
  • Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues

Healthcare Integration

  • Build and maintain integrations with third-party EHR systems via HL7 and FHIR
  • Collaborate with implementation teams on integration and interoperability projects
  • Help ensure healthcare data is exchanged securely and accurately

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
  • Participate in Agile development processes and sprint planning
  • Contribute ideas to improve architecture, scalability, and development practices

Requirements:

  • 4–6 years of professional full stack software development experience
  • Demonstrated depth in front-end development, with the ability to take ownership of complex UI work
  • Experience building SaaS or cloud-based applications
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • A self-starter attitude — curious, enthusiastic, and able to take a project and run with it
  • Front-End Skills:
    • Angular (current versions) with strong, hands-on experience
    • JavaScript / TypeScript
    • HTML5 / CSS3 and responsive, component-based UI design
    • Building and maintaining single-page applications
  • Back-End & Platform Skills
    • C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core
    • Entity Framework and RESTful API development
    • SQL Server and relational database design
    • Microsoft Azure and source control with Git (Azure DevOps or GitHub)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Equivalent professional experience will be considered)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with healthcare software or healthcare SaaS
  • Experience migrating applications from AngularJS to modern Angular
  • Experience with .NET MAUI, Xamarin, or other mobile development frameworks
  • Experience with offline-capable apps and data synchronization
  • Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR healthcare interoperability standards
  • Knowledge of healthcare security and HIPAA requirements
  • Experience integrating with third-party APIs

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
