The Sr. Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing local Cambrooke IT responsibilities, site-level infrastructure, and advanced enterprise systems administration while partnering with AHN corporate IT on standards, security, compliance, and enterprise platforms. This role provides technical leadership for server, network, cloud, endpoint, collaboration, business application, and physical-security systems; delivers Tier 3 support; and helps ensure Cambrooke locations remain aligned with corporate IT, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements. The position serves as the senior technical authority for supported Cambrooke locations and works closely with corporate MIS / IT-DX teams, vendors, and managed-service providers.


EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
• 8–10+ years of progressive systems administration experience
• Advanced experience administering Windows Server, virtualization platforms, and networking infrastructure
• Experience with Active Directory / Entra ID, Intune, Teams, and SharePoint administration
• Experience administering enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and data protection solutions; experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, Microsoft 365 Backup, or comparable cloud and hybrid backup platforms preferred
• Experience supporting regulated or manufacturing environments preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Advanced enterprise systems administration expertise
• Strong understanding of identity, endpoint, and collaboration platforms
• Knowledge of network security, access controls, and data protection principles
• Ability to manage complex incidents and high-risk changes
• Strong documentation, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to mentor and guide Systems Administrators I–III
• Strong understanding of backup, recovery, retention, and disaster recovery principles

WORKING CONDITIONS:
General office and plant environment supporting Cambrooke locations, including Ayer, Brockton, Devens, and other assigned local or remote sites as needed. Work must be performed in a safe manner for personal protection and for the protection of other team members. This role may require occasional travel between supported locations and participation in planned maintenance, urgent incident response, and after-hours support for critical outages, enterprise changes, business application issues, physical-security events, or project cutovers. All safety procedures described in SOPs and support for applicable ISO, cybersecurity, access-control, and compliance standards must be followed, enforced, and strictly complied with.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Position requires the ability to sit for a minimum of six (6) hours per day; stand, walk, bend, and reach above head less than one (1) hour per day; lift or carry up to 25 pounds occasionally; and perform repetitive use of hands and arms.
• Travel between MA sites required; Domestic travel may be required.
• When entering Operations and Warehouse facilities, safety glasses, safety shoes, hard hat are required as well as other GMP protection is required according to site policies.


• Serve as the senior local IT technical owner for supported Cambrooke locations, while coordinating with AHN corporate IT for enterprise standards, shared platforms, security direction, and escalation paths
• Oversee site-level IT operations and infrastructure at Cambrooke locations, including Ayer, Brockton, Devens, and other assigned local or remote sites
• Administer and maintain Windows servers, virtualization platforms, and network infrastructure
• Oversee Entra ID, Intune, Teams, and SharePoint administration
• Provide technical ownership and support for Cambrooke business applications, including application access, troubleshooting, vendor escalation, system availability, documentation, and coordination with business stakeholders
• Provide Tier 3 technical support for local and remote sites
• Manage and support enterprise collaboration and communication systems
• Ensure systems, hardware, firmware, and software are patched and up to date
• Administer, monitor, test, and document enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity and recoverability of critical systems
• Coordinate network upgrades and vendor-supported infrastructure improvements
• Coordinate vendors and managed-service providers for infrastructure, business applications, support services, telecom, physical-security systems, licensing, maintenance renewals, issue escalation, and project delivery
• Support enforcement of information security policies and access controls
• Support security, access, compliance, and audit readiness activities, including user access reviews, privileged-access controls, endpoint compliance, system documentation, evidence gathering, and enforcement of corporate IT policies
• Administer and maintain physical security systems, including cameras and access control
• Ensure proper video retention and support security or safety investigations
• Support major migrations and enterprise projects, including domain migrations, identity and endpoint-management changes, infrastructure modernization, application transitions, network upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, and corporate IT standardization efforts
• Train and support end users and new hires on MIS-controlled systems
• Work closely with corporate MIS teams to ensure compliance with standards


$95,444.00-$115,000.00 Annually plus 12.5% potential bonus
