Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 / hourly rate
OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated DevOps Engineer with deep experience in AWS cloud environments and infrastructure-as-code. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, enterprise settings, is highly productive, detail-oriented, and communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS.
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize AWS services including Aurora/RDS, ECS, VPC, ELB, ECR, EC2, and Lambda.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub CI.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to streamline deployment processes.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and cost optimization across cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and configurations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align infrastructure solutions with business needs.
Required Qualifications- Proven experience working in AWS within enterprise-level environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Experience managing AWS services such as RDS/Aurora, ECS, EC2, Lambda, VPC, ELB, and ECR.
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub CI.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Splunk, etc.).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration best practices.
- Experience implementing security and compliance controls in AWS.
- Background in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Bash).
