Watertown Regional Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This position is primarily remote, giving therapists the autonomy to manage their schedules and conduct sessions with clients in the comfort of their own homes or via our secure telehealth platform. Our outpatient office also serves as a hub for collaboration with your colleagues and interdisciplinary teams. This hybrid structure allows for optimal client engagement while minimizing travel demands.

• Conduct individualized therapy sessions either in-home or at our outpatient office, adapting therapy styles to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Facilitate effective group therapy sessions aimed at improving participants' coping mechanisms and social skills, while addressing high-risk behaviors.
• Support families by offering guidance on managing challenges related to youth behavior, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Engage closely with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to design and implement comprehensive treatment plans for clients.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes adhering to regulatory deadlines.
• Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and propose recommendations for best practices in therapy.

Our client base is diverse, encompassing individuals, couples, families, and groups from various backgrounds. You will work primarily with youth and their caregivers, focusing on enhancing mental health and interpersonal dynamics. This role provides the opportunity to help clients navigate complex emotions, relationship challenges, and life transitions, thereby fostering their overall well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in California.
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4 PM - 7 PM) is essential.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for in-home therapy sessions.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience, with a track record of providing positive behavioral support.
• Experience working with youth and families in various therapeutic settings, particularly in outpatient care.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice frameworks and holistic approaches to wellness would be beneficial.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. Additional benefits include:
