About the Opportunity

Join a team focused on ensuring end-to-end quality for SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA procurement solutions. This role suits a hands-on Quality Engineer who can quickly understand complex procurement workflows, define test coverage with limited documentation, and build scalable test automation to drive quality across sourcing, buying, invoicing, supplier management, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end testing across SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA procurement-related solutions.
  • Analyze product behavior and evolving requirements to define test coverage, scenarios, edge cases, and integration impacts.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests for functional, regression, integration, and E2E testing.
  • Design/enhance a reusable test automation approach for SAP Ariba and related applications.
  • Validate procurement processes: requisitioning, sourcing, contracts, supplier lifecycle, buying, catalogs, invoicing, and supplier collaboration.
  • Collaborate with product, functional, development, and support teams to clarify requirements and expected behavior.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution; support release validation and post-release verification.
  • Continuously refine test strategies and cases as product functionality evolves; contribute to root cause analysis.
  • Operate within an agile/DevOps environment; mentor teammates on QA best practices and automation as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in QA, test automation, or quality engineering.
  • 3 years of hands-on SAP Ariba experience, ideally spanning both upstream and downstream procurement.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA procurement or related P2P/S2P processes.
  • Strong functional understanding of procurement workflows (e.g., Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle/Performance, Buying, Buying & Invoicing, Catalog, Invoice Management, Supplier Risk).
  • Proven ability to work independently and define testing approaches with minimal documentation.
  • Experience creating test plans, scenarios, and cases; defect management; regression and end-to-end validation.
  • Hands-on test automation using Playwright with Java or JavaScript.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen; no dual citizens.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Business Network; Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG); integration between SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA.
  • CI/CD pipeline experience; tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and DevOps toolchains.
  • Cloud platforms: AWS (preferred), Azure and/or GCP.
  • Agile DevOps experience; production readiness/operations support.
