About the Role

As a Senior QE Mobile Automation Engineer, you will lead efforts to ensure the quality and performance of mobile applications through advanced automation frameworks and AI-driven tools. You will design, implement, and refine scalable automation solutions for iOS and Android platforms, leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to optimize testing strategies. This role demands a senior-level expert who can drive innovation in mobile testing methodologies and develop solutions for complex quality challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of robust automated test scripts and frameworks tailored for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.

Utilize AI tools to optimize mobile testing strategies and enhance automation capabilities, driving efficiency and accuracy in testing processes.

Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to identify automation opportunities and seamlessly integrate test frameworks into the software development lifecycle.

Establish and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines for automated test execution and reporting, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Conduct advanced root cause analysis for test failures, implementing corrective measures to improve quality and reliability.

Review, refine, and maintain test automation code to ensure adherence to best practices, scalability, and maintainability.

Execute comprehensive automated test suites, including performance testing, regression testing, and build validation.

Stay abreast of emerging AI tools, Agentic AI technologies, AI-assisted development platforms such as Cursor, mobile automation technologies, and industry trends to continually improve testing methodologies and strategies.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in mobile automation testing, with a strong focus on AI-driven tools and methodologies.

Proven expertise in developing sophisticated automation frameworks for iOS and Android platforms using tools like Appium, Espresso, or XCTest.

Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools for test optimization (e.g., Test.ai, Applitools, or similar).

Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.

Strong familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, including best practices or pipeline creation and maintenance.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud-based mobile testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner, with a focus on mobile application performance optimization.

Certifications in QA methodologies or automation tools (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium).

Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments and practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving innovation in testing strategies.
