Position: Business Analyst Location: Jackson, MS (100% Remote) Duration: 12 Months (Contract) Required Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) requirements with stakeholders and development teams
- Collaborate with Project Manager, Architect, and Developers to ensure business requirements are clearly communicated, accepted, and aligned with expectations
- Translate and simplify stakeholder requirements into formal written documentation for development teams
- Develop and manage the following documents:
- Business Requirements Document (BRD)
- Functional Design Document (FDD)
- Technical Design Document (TDD)
- Technical Use Cases
- User Stories
- Business Cases
- Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Test Cases
- Create diagrams, flowcharts, and workflow documentation of business processes
- Create and manage test cases for Quality Assurance
- Strong understanding of software and database development concepts
- Experience working as a Technical Business Analyst on software development teams
