Job description

Summary: We are seeking a Sales Director (IC role) to support the continued growth of our Document Automation software business within North America.  This position allows you to live and work anywhere you would like within the US or Canada! Reporting to the VP Revenue, you will manage the entire sales cycle with a focus on enterprise accounts. You will take ownership of new account acquisition as well as expansion of existing customers, working directly and through a partner network. This is a remote role with travel to client and partner locations as needed. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Proactively manage and close high-value document automation SaaS sales within large enterprises
  • Work closely with solution engineers to understand customer issues and present compelling product demonstrations
  • Craft value-driven commercial proposals and lead negotiations through to close
  • Maintain and expand relationships within existing customers and partners within your territory, driving a pipeline of new opportunities
  • Collaborate with partner and marketing teams to acquire and develop new customers and partners

 Required Skills: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in SAAS/software sales, with a focus on enterprise customers
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in selling document automation technologies
  • Consultative sales skills: proven ability to understand customer business issues and deliver a value-based sales engagement
  • Ability to engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders
  • Hunter mentality: the role encompasses new business and proactive expansion of existing customer account
  • Ability to simultaneously execute on multiple sales prospects and opportunities
  • Proficiency in using CRM (ideally Microsoft Dynamics) to manage pipeline and forecasting
