As a part of our hospice center focus, you will play a crucial role in supporting stable, low acuity adults, providing counseling services that enhance the quality of life for our patients. • Conduct engaging and empathetic individual counseling sessions through secure video chat platforms.
• Implement evidence-based, solution-focused treatment methodologies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with the diverse mental health needs of your clients.
• Guide clients in examining their thoughts, emotions, and relational dynamics to foster deeper understanding and healing.
• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Facilitate the development of healthy coping strategies that empower clients in their mental health journey.

The primary focus of your work will be with stable, low acuity adults in a hospice setting. These clients may be facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, or grief, requiring compassionate support as they navigate their experiences. Your expertise and tailored approaches will significantly impact their overall well-being and quality of life.

• A Master's degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• A current, unrestricted state-issued mental health counseling license (LMFT, LCSW, LCPC) is mandatory for independent practice.
• No limited/provisional licenses or disciplinary actions history will be accepted.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine empathetic approach are essential.
• Proficient technological skills, including familiarity with video conferencing tools and online documentation systems.
• A reliable computer equipped with webcam and audio capabilities, and a dependable internet connection are necessary for remote counseling.

In addition to the qualifications above, we seek candidates who have at least two years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly in settings that require sensitivity to the needs of hospice patients. Experience with grief counseling or end-of-life care is highly beneficial.
