Overview

We are seeking a Field Technician Lead with strong hands-on experience in Audio Visual systems, low voltage cabling, and customer support. This individual will lead field installations, guide junior technicians, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.

The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and customer-focused, capable of troubleshooting complex systems while maintaining professional communication with clients.

Key ResponsibilitiesField Installation & Technical Work
  • Install, configure, and support Audio Visual systems including displays, projectors, conferencing equipment, speakers, and control systems

  • Perform low voltage cabling installation including Cat6, fiber, coax, speaker wire, and control wiring

  • Terminate, test, and certify network and AV cabling

  • Mount displays, install equipment racks, and integrate AV hardware

  • Troubleshoot AV, networking, and signal flow issues in the field

Team Leadership
  • Lead and coordinate field technicians on installation projects

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians

  • Ensure projects follow installation standards, safety requirements, and quality expectations

  • Coordinate daily field work, materials, and project timelines

Customer Support
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients

  • Clearly communicate installation progress and technical issues

  • Provide post-installation walkthroughs and basic system training for customers

  • Deliver professional service that creates a strong customer experience

Project Coordination
  • Work with project managers and operations teams to ensure smooth installations
