As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring ethical and compassionate care.
• Implement solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to the individual needs of clients.
• Develop and maintain effective, client-centered treatment plans based on each client's unique experiences and goals.
• Assist clients in developing insights into their feelings and relationships that facilitate personal growth.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to foster healthy coping mechanisms.

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adult clients who present a range of mental health needs. This includes individuals seeking support for depression, anxiety, life transitions, and adjustment issues. The focus is on empowering clients through evidence-based interventions and skill development that enhance their quality of life.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A Master's degree in a counseling-related discipline (e.g., Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology).
• A current, state-issued mental health counseling license that allows for independent practice. Candidates must hold one of the following licenses:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No limited or provisional licenses and no history of disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a sympathetic and compassionate nature.
• Proficient computer skills and access to a computer with webcam and audio capabilities for virtual counseling sessions.
• A reliable internet connection is essential for conducting video sessions.

While two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional experience working specifically with low-acuity clients or in online settings are highly encouraged to apply. Strong competencies in ethical decision-making and a commitment to ongoing professional development will be valuable assets in this role.

The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 104,000, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Additionally, weekly direct deposits ensure financial stability, while full-time counselors benefit from monthly healthcare stipends.
