POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is seeking a full-time, remote Neuroradiologist to join our academic practice supporting Tampa General Hospital, a nationally recognized health system and stroke center of excellence. This position offers the opportunity to work either an evening schedule (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM EST, 7 on/7 off) or an overnight schedule (7 on/14 off with flexible start times), allowing candidates to choose the schedule that best aligns with their professional and personal goals.
This role features a 100% neuroradiology case mix and serves a growing healthcare system that provides a diverse and rewarding spectrum of cases. Our neuroradiologists interpret the full breadth of neuroimaging studies, including trauma, stroke (with CT perfusion utilizing RAPID software), oncology, dementia, movement disorders, and functional MRI. Through collaboration with RAF divisions across Florida, radiologists benefit from a robust and optimized study mix.
RAF is affiliated with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and is deeply committed to academic excellence. We train eight radiology residents annually and one neuroradiology fellow. The ideal candidate will have an interest in teaching and mentoring trainees, particularly our neuroradiology fellow. Opportunities for faculty appointment are available. While dedicated didactic lectures are not required, candidates interested in contributing to educational programs are encouraged to do so.
Our practice embraces a collaborative, team-oriented culture where subspecialists work closely together to deliver exceptional patient care. New team members will join an experienced group of neuroradiologists and subspecialty radiologists who value collegiality, consultation, and professional growth.
In addition, RAF offers an internal moonlighting program with unmatched flexibility, allowing radiologists to work additional shifts from home whenever they choose, without ongoing commitments or minimum requirements.
LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
RAF is the largest radiology practice in Florida. We serve the most prestigious, established health systems in the state, including on the east and west coasts, the Florida Panhandle, and the Keys. Our scale affords our practice stability and affords our radiologists flexibility in study mix and scheduling. We also recognize that scale alone does not beget excellence. We are quality-oriented, and we practice radiology at the cutting edge, encouraging subspecialty-level interpretations across the practice, and facilitating collaboration and consultation between our radiologists.
Our state-of-the-art IT suite includes universal PACS across the practice, AI tools, and integrated doc-to-doc communication widgets.
Our practice is locally and democratically led, with decisions vested in the hands of the group at large, rather than in a few founders or a small group of shareholders. We are the teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa. In Sarasota, our physicians staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years. We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments.
Our diverse group of radiologists work and socialize together in our communities around Florida. Even between our communities across the state, we are one practice. We look forward to letting you get to know us better!

COMPENSATION:
