About the Opportunity

Our client, a global leader in enterprise software solutions, is seeking an Agile Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of enterprise software products supporting large financial institutions. This individual will serve as the central point of coordination across Product, Engineering, QA, and leadership, ensuring projects remain on track while proactively managing priorities, risks, and dependencies.

This is a highly visible role where success is driven as much by leadership and communication as it is by Agile expertise. The ideal candidate is confident leading meetings, holding teams accountable, driving decisions, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile delivery across multiple enterprise software products and applications.
  • Manage product backlogs, sprint planning, release planning, and work tracking within Azure DevOps.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product Management, Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, Professional Services, and business stakeholders.
  • Track project milestones, action items, dependencies, and deliverables through completion.
  • Identify, communicate, and proactively mitigate project risks and blockers before they impact delivery timelines.
  • Drive accountability across project teams by assigning ownership, establishing deadlines, and following through on commitments.
  • Provide regular project status updates and reporting to leadership through Azure DevOps dashboards and project metrics.
  • Support the organization's transition toward Kanban methodologies while maintaining Agile best practices.
  • Foster collaboration while keeping discussions focused, driving decisions, and ensuring forward progress across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of Agile Project Management experience within enterprise software development environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including:
    • Epics
    • Features
    • Product Backlog Items (PBIs)
    • Bugs
    • Sprint Backlogs
    • Work Item Management
  • Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and managing Agile software delivery.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies; Scrum experience required.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams consisting of Product, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while driving projects to successful completion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Kanban or a willingness to help support a team transitioning from Scrum to Kanban.
  • Experience building Azure DevOps dashboards and project reporting.
  • Background supporting enterprise software products delivered to external customers or internal implementation teams.
  • Experience within Financial Services, Regulatory/Compliance, Tax, Healthcare, or other enterprise software environments.
