The remote Assistantย Principal in our Elementary Campus,ย directs and coordinates educational,ย administrativeย and counseling activities of high school students by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.ย

This is a REMOTE full-time position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 8am-430pm EST or as defined by the school.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:ย Reasonableย accommodationsย may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.ย ย 

  • Ensures conformance of educational programs to state and local school board standards through evaluation,ย developmentย and coordination activities; As needed, researches and implements non-K12 curriculum resources that meet stateย standards;ย 

  • Helps articulate the schoolโ€™s mission and vision with the aim of ensuring all stakeholders haveย a common understandingย and are positioned to work cooperativelyย toย achieve desired results;ย Utilizes/relies heavily upon communication technologies and practices that most effectively support aย predominantly virtual / remoteย workย environment;ย 

  • Ensures that the school is meeting the needs of students whileย complying withย local, state, and federal lawsย regardingย special education and other categorical programs (such as Title I, LAP, CTE);ย 

  • Interfaces with students, families, local Municipal Court systems, and local districtsย regardingย compliance as it relates to student attendance and engagement in educational program as defined by school policy and student handbook expectations;ย 

  • Develops and oversees implementation of the schoolโ€™s Student Achievement Improvement Plan.ย 

  • Supervises and evaluates teaching staff; Manages teacher performance, developing and providing necessary training to support their professional development; Manages Master and Lead Teachers andย programs;ย 

  • Confers with teachers, students, and parents concerning educational and behavioral problems in school; Coordinates with teacher and K12 Enrollmentย regardingย expulsions andย withdrawals;ย 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:ย Directly supervises 15-30 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors.โ€ฏ Carries out supervisory responsibilitiesย in accordance withย the organization\'s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.ย 

MINIMUMย REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:ย 

  • Previousย Supervisory Experienceย 

  • Masterโ€™s degree ANDย 

  • Five (5) years of educational experience ORย 

  • Equivalent combination of education and experienceย 

  • Ability to clear required background checkย 

OTHER REQUIREDย QUALIFICATIONS:โ€ฏย 

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Webย proficiency.ย 

  • Ability to travel 20% of the time for meetings, professional development, etc.ย

  • Previousย experience as an online Educatorย 

  • Previousย administrative experienceย 

Compensation & Benefits:ย Stride, Inc. considers a personโ€™s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the positionโ€™s work location, expected quality and quantity of work,ย requiredย travel (if any), external market and internal value whenย determiningย a new employeeโ€™s salary level.โ€ฏ Salaries will differ based on these factors, the positionโ€™s level and expected contribution, and the employeeโ€™s benefits elections.โ€ฏ Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.โ€ฏย 

  • We anticipate the salary range to be $70,000.00.ย  Eligible employees may receive a bonus.ย  This salary is not guaranteed, as an individualโ€™s compensation can vary based on several factors.ย  These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
