• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients’ emotional and mental health needs.
• Provide individual counseling sessions, helping clients navigate their feelings and develop coping strategies through evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to articulate their goals, helping to establish actionable plans for achieving them.
• Utilize a solution-focused approach, employing techniques that promote positive outcomes and enhance clients’ mental health.
• Maintain accurate client records and adhere to confidentiality standards, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.

In this role, you will work predominantly with stable clients presenting low acuity mental health conditions who are seeking emotional support and guidance. Each client is thoroughly screened prior to sessions, ensuring that you engage with individuals who can benefit most from therapeutic intervention. This focus on low acuity cases allows you to concentrate on effective strategies that facilitate mental health improvement while managing your caseload effectively.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required; however, a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a similar discipline is preferred.
• An active and independent state license in one of the following: LMFT, LCSW, or LPC.
• Strong interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy, attentiveness, and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Proficient in digital platforms and virtual communication tools to conduct teletherapy sessions.
• Capacity to evaluate client treatment needs and formulate appropriate planning and recommendations.

• Experience in a detox or treatment center environment is an asset, enhancing your understanding of client challenges and recovery pathways.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and ability to implement them effectively in a remote setting.

With a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $104,000 annually based on the hours worked, Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a comprehensive benefits package.
