Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Programmer PHP (Architect) responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Qualifications

Role Requirements:

  • 6+ years' experience developing PHP websites or enterprise applications
  • Deep experience with at least one PHP development framework (Code Ignitor, Zend, CakePHP, etc.)
  • A background in object-oriented design and development strategies
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture
  • Strong background in hand-coding advanced HTML and CSS in addition to solid JavaScript/jQuery skills
  • Web Concepts: REST, JSON, XML, OOP, Dependency Injection, SOAP
  • Agile Methodology: Scrum, Kanban

Strong pluses:

  • B.S. and/or M.S. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related field
  • MVC frameworks,
  • MySql

Required education:

  • Bachelor's

Required experience:

  • developing PHP websites or enterprise applications: 6 years
  • Agile Methodology: Scrum, Kanban: 5 years
