Upholds FCB's mission, by analyzing financial status through the collection, monitoring, and studying of data. This position requires a thorough knowledge of standard accounting systems, generally accepted accounting principles, and financial analysis.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Financial Analysis & Performance Reporting: 45%
- Identifies financial trends and performance by comparing actual results to plans and forecasts, and prepares and reconciles reports across multiple categories for distribution to management at all levels.
- Participates in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation for management, outside auditors, and regulators.
- Processes and maintains the accounts payable invoice system for paying invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling and preparing disbursements, and obtaining authorization of payment.
- Maintains a database of vendors including payment information and generates 1099s for vendors.
- Coordinate the collection and organization of vendor due diligence documentation, including financial statements and SOC reports, and assist in review to support accounting and compliance requirements.
- Processes and maintains the prepaid and auto entry system of accounting.
- Performs back up to FCB's daily cash position and daily reconciliations.
- Performs special projects as assigned.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related goals, as needed.
- Participates in civic and community activities to generate visibility and contact for the bank.
- Attends mandatory compliance and security sessions. Monitors daily work for adherence to compliance and security regulations, policies/procedures, and promptly corrects any deficiencies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Two years accounting or banking experience preferred.
- Ability to learn new computer software programs necessary.
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills required.
- Knowledge of and ability to cross-sell FCB products and services to customers-such as the ability to identify customers' needs, communicate services, explain advantages, and close sales activity.
- Skill in working with the public, presenting a professional image of the bank, and servicing prospective and current customer inquiries, requests, and complaints.
