Job description

Here you go. This is for VML supporting the United States Marine Corp. Because of that, US Citizenship is required. $45-$48/hour depending on the PTO package.

Contract through end of year - Possible extensions/conversion but no guarantee.

Fine with 100% remote - ideally in a VML location, but not required. Will be EST hours so need to be CST or EST.

Will need to pass additional background check through Client

  • NodeJS
  • NestJS
  • TypeScript
  • GraphQL
  • Backend
  • We're looking for someone with senior-level experience who can hop in on day one and make an impact, and who can bring some vigor to the team.
  • Most VML locations should be fine, but the work is generally run in east coast hours and centered in Atlanta, so the closer they are to that time zone, the easier life will be for everyone. But the work will be done remotely, so no need to be in that exact area.
  • Right now the team doesn't have visibility into the project scope in 2026, and there's a pretty decent chance the work will shrink back down starting in January. Our current expectation is to run the role from now until the end of this year. So on this one, we may not want to lean too strongly into the conversion conversation, because I think there's a pretty realistic chance the team structure will need to change again come January!
