POSITION SPECIFICS
Auxiliary and Business Services is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide essential support for university transportation and parking services, supporting daily and event parking operations for faculty, staff, students, and visitors. This position requires strong customer service skills and communication skills
The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mandatory overtime is required for home football games, student arrival, and other events based on staffing needs.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Serve in a direct, face-to-face customer service role, at the campus parking decks or at various locations for events, mostly outdoors
  • Manage daily parking at the gated parking decks, redirecting visitors to alternative locations when full, and assisting with entry, exit, and payments
  • Conduct space counts and walk throughs of facilities
  • Resolve parking issues directly with customers, and follow up or escalate as needed
  • Explain rules and regulations for parking on campus
  • Promote alternative parking and other transportation options
  • Complete cleaning and minor maintenance of PARCS equipment
  • Complete daily walkthroughs of facilities, and report issues to management
  • Assist with setting up and tearing down for events
  • Conduct event sales, assisting customers with mobile payments
  • Oversee part time and temp staff during events
  • Assist with other events, holding areas for VIP, ADA, or other needs
  • Use software such as ArcGIS, T2, SWARCO, INDECT, Honk,
  • Take intercom calls to assist guests at the parking decks
  • Answer emails and phone calls, folding letters, and other various light office work

This position will require a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and the ability to work outdoors while standing and walking in all weather conditions.
This position will be filled at the Intermediate Support level.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School (HS)2+ years of relevant experienceRequired Certifications:None

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $36,888.00 - $53,532.00.
