Certified Veterinary Technician (RVT/CVT/LVT) – Founding Team

Animal Clinic International | Sherman Oaks, California

Animal Clinic International is opening a modern, privately owned small animal hospital in Sherman Oaks, California, and we are looking for a compassionate and highly motivated Registered/Certified/Licensed Veterinary Technician (RVT/CVT/LVT) to join our founding team.

This is a unique opportunity to become one of the first veterinary technicians in a brand-new hospital equipped with advanced technology and committed to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations and treatments
  • Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients
  • Collect blood, urine, and laboratory samples
  • Perform laboratory testing
  • Place IV catheters and administer medications as directed
  • Obtain diagnostic radiographs
  • Prepare and monitor hospitalized patients
  • Educate clients on medications and home care
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Assist with inventory and equipment maintenance
  • Work collaboratively with doctors and support staff

Qualifications

  • Active California RVT license preferred (CVT/LVT from another state will be considered where applicable)
  • Experience in small animal practice preferred
