PURPOSE:

This position is focused on engaging Godiva's existing customer base to strengthen relationships and drive business growth. The role is responsible for proactive outreach aimed at customer retention, identifying opportunities to expand partnerships, and ensuring continued satisfaction and loyalty.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Make and manage inbound and outbound calls/emails in a timely manner.

  • Keep records of all conversations in our Gladly system.

  • Send quotes to customers, as needed.

  • Place orders for customers, as needed.

  • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research issues and provide solutions and/or alternatives.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.

  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening.

  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types.

  • Familiarity with Gladly platform helpful, but will train

  • Previous experience in a customer support role

  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively

  • Ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Takes pride in work, exhibiting accuracy and attention to detail

  • 4 years' experience in customer service or outbound sales position a plus

  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Comfortable with learning new computer software programs and processes

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

High School Diploma

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

Base starting rate ranges from $19.00 - $24.00 per hour. The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. This role is also eligible for a quarterly incentive opportunity.
