Looking for an experienced Android architect who can work independently on Android development and guide other Android developers. Drive the quality up and the risk down and be an expert at applying platform features and best practices, and sharing that knowledge to help the team grow. Experience in best coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing techniques and uphold peer to peer code reviews.
Required:
•The ideal candidate would have 7+ years' experience developing native Android mobile applications
•More than 15+ years of overall experience.
•Design and develop new native mobile applications, as required.
•Proficient in Android SDK components (Content Providers, Networking, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Intents, Fragments)
•Experience in implementing unit tests.Design, develop and implement cohesive, highly-usable features and improvements to our existing native Android applications.
•Experience with development of mobile network clients using HTTP protocol, REST APIs and firebase Cloud Messaging, push notifications, geo-locations.
•Experience with Google Play APIs: Maps, Location, and firebase cloud messaging.
