This role will be focused on data analytics for our home equity line of business.

GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for developing analytics and reporting that helps the line of business manage its pricing strategy to meet or exceed revenue goals and capitalize on market share in accordance with corporate goals and objectives. Focus on providing value-added analysis and

recommendations to support business growth.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead the development and implementation of best practice pricing by creating and defining the tools, process, guidelines, and standardized reporting that will help define a pricing strategy, set prices, and execute pricing plans to achieve revenue, profit and market share goals.
    • Collaborate with internal partners when appropriate to develop process and analytics that are needed to strengthen baseline pricing recommendations that drive bottom line results.
    • Ensure timely & actionable reports are provided to leadership team, on routine or ad-hoc basis, that story tells product positioning through data visualization and quantitative and qualitative analysis.
    • Produce reporting that helps the LOB operate and monitor performance and KPIs related to profitability production, as well as provide forecasting of future performance.
    • Conduct competitive analysis to assess competitor impacts to localized pricing and promos, market share, and product features / benefits.
    • Define data requirements and resources to support analysis and reporting of overall pricing effectiveness.
    • Synthesize and interpret pricing analytics and present recommendations.
    • Update and monitor pricing posted and communicated across multiple channels.
    • Support continuous improvement of pricing processes.
    • Apply advanced analytical thinking to key pricing issues, including but not limited to the development of demand curves and price elasticity calculations.
    • Improve the use of predictive analytics to proactively manage price
    • Ensures daily pricing in systems is consistent with published rates, importing pricing information and verifying accuracy.
    • Quantify value of products against competitor offerings
    • Create an executive reporting dashboard to communicate impact of pricing decisions

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent experience required
    • 3-5 years experience in retail, analysis or pricing preferred
    • Proficient in a wide range of analytical, quantitative, and statistical techniques and tools to derive insights from large, complex data environments
    • Exceptional ability to extract strategic insights from large data sets
    • ffice computer skills required; preference for Microsoft application experience
    • Advanced Excel skills required
    • Experience with statistical analysis software packages (e.g., SAS) required
    • Excellent communication skills: listening, verbal and written
