• Act as the main point of contact with families, establishing open lines of communication to ensure they are informed and engaged in the therapeutic process.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions using established clinical frameworks, including the Attachment-Based Family Therapy model.
• Conduct new Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Family Support Groups to integrate families into the therapeutic process.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, which includes assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, group notes, and discharge summaries.
• Utilize various digital tools, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and electronic medical records (EMR), to enter and manage client data effectively.
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and staff meetings to discuss client progress and collaboratively develop strategies for ongoing care.
• Represent Sunrise Counseling Services at training sessions, meetings, and conferences as required.
• Independently manage your schedule to ensure the efficient accomplishment of therapeutic and organizational goals.

In this role, you will focus on providing therapeutic support to adolescents and young adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will be essential in fostering connections with clients and their families, assisting in building sustainable healing and resilience. • A Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field, or active enrollment in a Doctorate program from an accredited or state-approved institution.
• Valid Board registration (APCC, LAPC, ASW, AMFT, MHCA) or Psychologic Associate license in Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual, group, or family therapy to adolescents and young adults.

• Experience with mental health treatment focusing on substance abuse, eating disorders, or trauma-informed care is preferred, equipping you to handle diverse client needs effectively.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and the ability to engage clients in meaningful dialogue is crucial.

Sunrise Counseling Services offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our therapist package includes:
